Cello’peras by Mozart : Mozart for children
Alla Voce was created in 2011 with the intention of combining human voices with cello because their tones are so close that music lovers frequently identify one for the other.
Camille Slosse, soprano and Pascal Gourgand, baritone, bass are particularly passionate about the opera in a short form. They join in the performances of Les Brigands.
Sarah Ledoux and Vérène Westphal, cellos, participated in the creation of the Orchestre de Chambre Pelléas.
The show is entirely dedicated to Mozart in a Youth Public version with two of his most famous operas : The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute. Cellos and singers play the characters and give life to the intrigue. Thus one will see Suzanna turning into Barberine or in the Countess and Figaro turning to Cherubin and the Count ; then Papageno turning to Sarastro and the Queen of the Night to Pamina or Papagena, and the cellos made up as violins, oboes or bassoons will turn to singers, flutes or glockenspiel (the carillon of Papageno).
