The Beethoven violin Concerto is contemporaneous with the third and fourth symphonies. The final rondo theme was composed by the first performer: Franz Clement.
The Ballet music "The Creatures of Prometheus" is both experimental (Beethoven has then written only one symphony) and totally stirring in its dramatic strength.
One century after Beethoven, a brilliant young Prokofiev offers in The Classical Symphony, his perspective on the style of his musical ancestors.
Concert organized with the support of General Council of Dordogne, and of the Festival" l’Eté musical en Bergerac"
