Wednesday 10 August 2011 9.30 PM / Audrix Gouffre de Proumeyssac
A group of five musicians, playing regularly in Paris jazz clubs (Petit Journal, Jazz Cartoon) who revive traditional jazz music of New Orleans or Chicago clubs in the 1920s and 1930s.
The group interprets well known or less known themes from musicians such as: Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Willie “The Lion” Smith, Sidney Bechet, Jelly Roll Morton, Clarence Williams…with the drive and cheerfulness which befits that kind of music.
This festive and dancing music is irresistible!
